Across Lake Ontario….
We arrived in Oswego, N.Y. yesterday around 4:30 in the afternoon. Aside from the pestilence, the passage was perfect (bad alliteration, sorry). We were swarmed by biting flies (bigger than black flies, smaller than house flies) about 2 hours out of Collins Bay. They tormented us the entire crossing. Other than that, it was a great day. Light breeze and following seas (meter or less).
We’re in a Dunkin’ Donuts in Fulton, N.Y. using their free WiFi. The laptop is about to die, so I’ll sign off for now. Will update the post with some pictures if we can find a power outlet.
Well done guys.
Thanks, Dad! I guess I don’t have to send you an email to let you know we made it across okay.
The GPS tracker works great (thanks to Susan & Harvey for the subscription). Go to the “Where’s Water Music” page to see all the places we checked in. We’ll try to update it with our location every few hours…
