We’re going to stay at our slip in the 79th St Boat Basin one more night. We had more to do than we thought to get ourselves ready to go to Cape May, NJ. Good news is that it worked out with Artie from Long Island this morning and we now have ourselves a dinghy and 4hp outboard motor.

*A B.O.A.T. unit converts to one thousand dollars. In this case, one thousand American dollars. It derives from the phrase commonly heard when boaters open their wallets: “But only another thousand”…
