We’re in Vero Beach, Florida;Â arrived on the 10th. Some call it “Velcro Beach” because people have a tendency to get stuck here. It’s cheap (to tie up to a mooring ball is $13.90 plus tax, which includes all the marina’s facilities). The mooring field is well-protected, which is good, because it’s been blowing for a few days now.
Today we got caught in the rain for the first time travelling in the dinghy from shore back to the boat. We and all our groceries got soaked, but we’re not complaining.
We’ve been incommunicado because we’re nearing the end of our internet do-dad data plan, and there has been no good WiFi at our recent stops. Tomorrow is laundry day (which means we’ll have access to good WiFi – hopefully), so we’ll get caught up on the blog and some Skyping.
Hope all’s well at home…’til tomorrow.
